How to Install git-el software package in Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus)

git-el software package provides fast, scalable, distributed revision control system (emacs support), you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install git-el

git-el is installed in your system.

Make ensure the git-el package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep git-el *

You will get with git-el package name, version, architecture and description in a table
